Your account settings
Change your name and password, turn on two-factor sign-in, choose your emails, or delete your account.
About 4 minutes
These settings belong to you, not to your organization. Open Settings in the sidebar.
Name and email
Change your name and click Save changes. Your email is the one you sign in with and cannot be changed here. To use another address, ask your organization’s Owner or an Admin to invite it.
Turn on two-factor sign-in
With two-factor on, signing in needs your password and a 6-digit code from an authenticator app such as Google Authenticator, 1Password or Authy. Someone who learns your password still cannot get in.
Start the setup
Under Two-factor authentication, type your password and click Begin setup.
Scan the code and save your backup codes
Scan the QR code with your authenticator app. Then click Copy or Download and keep the backup codes somewhere safe: each one works once if you lose your phone.
Confirm with a code
Type the 6-digit code your app shows (1) and click Verify & enable.
Turning it on signs you out on every other device. From now on, after your password Zaysa asks for the code (1). If you do not have your phone, click Use a backup code instead.
Signed in with Google or GitHub?
To create new backup codes, click Regenerate backup codes; the old ones stop working. To turn two-factor off, click Disable 2FA and confirm with your password.
Change your password
Type your current password and the new one, then click Update password. A password needs at least 8 characters.
Forgot it? On the sign-in page, click Forgot password? and Zaysa emails you a link.
Choose your emails
| Switch | What you get |
|---|---|
| Email notifications | Commitment notices, savings opportunities and the digests you set up. |
| Plan tips and reminders | Getting-started tips and what paid plans add, at most once a month after your first week. |
| Marketing emails | Promotional content and offers. Off unless you turn it on. |
Password resets, security emails, receipts and invitations are always sent, whatever these switches say.
Delete your account
Under Danger zone, click Delete account. It cancels your subscription and closes your account. For 30 days you can undo it by signing in again and choosing to restore it; after that it is gone.
If you own an organization
If something goes wrong
- The code is not accepted: check that your phone’s clock is set automatically; codes depend on the time. Or use a backup code.
- Lost your phone and your backup codes: email hello@zaysa.io from the address you sign in with.
